Quick answers, straight to the point. Search, or browse by topic.
How do I add my playlist?
On first launch the NO SIGNAL screen takes you there; later, open Settings › Library › Playlists and tap Add playlist. Use the INPUT key to pick Xtream Codes, M3U link or M3U file, name the playlist, fill in the details your provider sent and tap Add. Lemo checks that it plays before saving it. Then you're live.
Xtream Codes or M3U: which one?
Got a server URL, a username and a password from your provider? Pick Xtream Codes: you get proper categories, movie and series details, the TV guide and catch-up. Only a link? Use M3U link, or M3U file for a playlist saved on your device. Paste an Xtream-style get.php link and Lemo spots it and switches to Xtream Codes by itself.
Does Lemo Player come with channels?
No. Lemo Player has no channels, movies or series of its own and sells no subscription. It plays the playlist from your own IPTV provider. No playlist yet? Ask your provider for your Xtream Codes details or your M3U link.
How do I switch to another playlist?
Tap the playlist name in the Home header (CH 1) and pick another one, or tap it in Settings › Library › Playlists. Live, Movies, Series and the guide reload from it. Favorites, lists and history are kept per playlist. The free plan holds one playlist; Lemo Max holds as many as you like.
A channel, movie or series is missing
Lemo shows exactly what your provider sends, so missing items or empty categories come from the provider's side. On big Xtream playlists the All category and search cover only what's loaded so far: tap Load all to bring in everything. Still missing? Remove the playlist and add it again, or ask your provider.
How does the remote work?
In the live player, CH ▲ and CH ▼ zap to the next or previous channel, and ↩ jumps back to the last one you watched. Tap 123 for the keypad: type a number, watch it appear in the OSD, and Lemo jumps there after a second and a half (or tap OK). Numbers are your provider's channel numbers when it sends them, otherwise the channel's place in its category. Locked channels still ask for the PIN.
The stream buffers or stops
Lemo already tries other stream addresses and reconnects a dropped stream up to three times. If it keeps stalling:
• move closer to your router or use a faster network
• stop other apps or devices streaming at the same time
• check your subscription allows another connection (Xtream playlists show it in Settings › Library › Playlists)
• try again a little later, as busy servers slow down at kick-off
When every channel fails, the provider's server is usually the cause.
How do favorites work?
Tap Add to favorites on a channel, movie, series or episode. Favorites get their own category in each section and a rail on Home. They belong to the active playlist, keep working even if the provider moves the item to another category, and a removal can be undone.
What are lists?
Lists are your own named collections, like "Derby nights" or "Weekend films", each with its own colour. Creating a list needs Lemo Max; fill it with Add to a list. Lists you already made keep working if Lemo Max ends.
Where do I pick up a movie or an episode?
Lemo saves your place as you watch. Unfinished movies and episodes wait in Continue watching on Home and in each section; open one and choose Resume or Start over. Anything watched to 95 % leaves the row by itself. To wipe it, use Settings › Library › Clear watch history.
Can I change audio, subtitles or the picture?
Yes: tap MENU in the player. Cycle Audio, Subtitles, Fit, Aspect, Speed and the Sleep timer with ◂ ▸, or open Caption style to set subtitle size, colour, outline and background with a live preview. Which audio and subtitle tracks exist depends on the stream.
The TV guide is empty
The guide comes from your provider. Try this:
• Xtream: some providers send no guide for some channels, which then show No information
• M3U: if your playlist names no guide, tap Add a guide link on the Guide (CH 4), paste the link and tap Refresh guide
• Times off by an hour or more? Set the Guide time shift on that same page
What is catch-up, and why only on some channels?
Catch-up plays programmes that already aired, or restarts the one on now from its beginning. It's an Xtream feature your provider turns on per channel, for a set number of days; those channels carry the ↺ badge. M3U playlists have no catch-up. In the guide, tap a past programme with the ↺ mark, then Play or Watch from the start.
My reminder didn't ring
Reminders are notifications on this device, five minutes before the start. Check that notifications are on for Lemo Player in iOS Settings › Notifications, and that a Focus mode isn't silencing them. If you refused the permission, the reminder wasn't kept: allow notifications and set it again. Removing a playlist also removes its reminders.
Where do the scores come from?
From a third-party football data service, used with permission. Scores (CH 3) shows yesterday, today, tomorrow or any day from the calendar, with the featured leagues first and the rest under More leagues. While the screen is open it refreshes every minute; pull down to refresh sooner. No betting and no odds, ever.
What does Watch do on a match?
It searches the live channels of your active playlist for the league and team names and lists what it finds. Lemo has no streams of its own, so when nothing matches you'll see No channel found in your playlist. Your provider's sports categories are the next place to look.
Free or Lemo Max?
Free gives you everything to watch with: one playlist, the guide, catch-up, reminders, scores and the remote, with ads. Lemo Max adds unlimited playlists and your own lists, and switches every ad off. The price is shown on the purchase screen.
How do I restore or cancel Lemo Max?
New iPhone or a fresh install? Tap Restore purchases in Settings › Membership, signed in with the same Apple ID. To cancel, open iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Lemo Player. Apple bills and refunds subscriptions; we can't see or change your payment.
How does the kids lock work?
Create a 4-digit PIN in Settings › Library › Kids lock, then lock whole sections, categories or single channels of each playlist. Locked items ask for the PIN; entering it opens that playlist until you tap Lock again or restart the app. After five wrong tries the keypad waits 30 seconds.
I forgot my kids-lock PIN
No one can reset it, us included: the PIN exists only as a scrambled hash on this device and is never sent anywhere. The only way out is to delete and reinstall Lemo Player, which also removes your playlists, favorites, lists and settings. Keep your provider's login details at hand to add your playlist again.
What does Lemo Player know about me?
Nothing on a server: there's no account and no analytics. Your playlists and everything you save stay on this device. The privacy policy in Settings › Privacy explains what ads, purchases and scores involve.
